How many shutter actuations does a used Canon 1Dx usually have?
We do not have a series of sales from which to draw a typical shutter-count range for the Canon 1Dx, a body built for heavy professional use. On every unit we read the shutter count ourselves in our workshop and print it on the item's page as a certified shutter count; the declared grade is the lower of cosmetic condition and shutter-count band. What do you check on a used Canon 1Dx before selling it?
We read the shutter counter, check the 18.1-megapixel full-frame sensor (dust and scratches), the mirror, the viewfinder, the screen, the two CF slots, the dials, the buttons of the vertical grip, the seals and the battery, then we test it with an EF lens. Grade and included accessories are written on the item's page, with a 2-year warranty.
Which lenses fit a Canon 1Dx?
The Canon 1Dx has the Canon EF mount and a full-frame sensor: it takes all Canon EF lenses, including Sigma, Tamron and Tokina lenses with an EF mount, and EF extenders on the lenses that accept them. EF-S lenses, designed for APS-C sensors, do not fit. Stabilisation depends on the lens, not on the body.
