How we value your gear

  1. 1. The model

    We start from the exact model and its current value on the used market: for lenses the mount matters too.

  2. 2. The cosmetic condition

    From “Like new” (cosmetics 97-100%) down to “Heavily used”: scratches, marks on the edges, wear on the rubber and the rings.

  3. 3. The certified shutter count, on camera bodies

    The shutter is a wearing part: the bands are up to 10,000, 50,000, 100,000 actuations and above, and the lower of the cosmetic level and the shutter band applies. We read the count in our lab and certify it, just like the certified shutter count we publish on the pages of the gear we sell: if you don't know the number, leave the field empty.

  4. 4. The original accessories

    With complete original accessories the offer stays at its highest: charger, battery, strap and USB cable for bodies; caps and, if sold with it, the hood for lenses. Box and manuals increase it.

  5. 5. Working order

    The first quote is based on what you declare. The final offer comes after the check in our lab: if it doesn't convince you, we send everything back at our own expense.
