ReflexMania is a used camera shop with its own workshop in Ancona, Italy, in business since 2015. We buy used cameras and lenses, check them in our workshop, photograph each unit and sell them with a 24-month warranty. We ship to Italy, to the other 26 EU countries, to Switzerland and to the United Kingdom.

What we check
Every camera body and every lens goes through our workshop before it goes on sale, with at least 11 checks: on bodies, for example, the general operation, display, buttons, electronics, hot shoe, mirror and pentaprism, plus cleaning of the sensor; on lenses the front and rear elements, autofocus and stabilisation motors, aperture blades, internal fungus and the focusing mechanism. Cosmetic condition is declared with a grade: Like new (97-100%), Excellent (90-96%), Minor signs of use (80-89%), Visible signs of use (70-79%) and Heavily used (below 70%). On camera bodies the grade also reflects the certified shutter count, read in our workshop and printed on the listing (bands up to 10,000, 50,000 and 100,000 actuations; the lower of the two levels applies). Warranty: 24 months, wherever we deliver
Every used item is covered by the ReflexMania warranty: 24 months from delivery if you buy as a private customer, 12 months with a VAT number. It covers faults in operation, not normal wear, knocks, liquids, improper use or work by third parties. If the fault is covered we repair or replace the item or, where that is not possible, refund the price you paid. For warranty repairs from outside Italy, shipping to our workshop and back is paid by the customer. There is nothing to activate: your order number is enough. Shipping and returns by country
- Italy: BRT courier, 1-3 working days, free from €49 (€7.90 below). Cash on delivery (+€5) and optional parcel insurance (€10) are available in Italy only. You can also collect your order from our shop in Ancona.
- European Union (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden): UPS, €15.
- Switzerland and United Kingdom: UPS, €20. Import VAT or duties may be charged on delivery.
Orders placed before 12:00 CET, Monday to Friday, leave the same day; you receive the tracking number by email. Until delivery the parcel travels at our risk. Returns: 14 days from delivery, from any of these countries, free of charge (we pay the return shipping), with a full refund within 14 days of the item reaching us. How to pay
Card through Stripe (the same option also offers Klarna, Scalapay and Satispay where available at checkout), PayPal or bank transfer (SEPA; the order leaves once the payment is credited). All prices are in euro and include VAT. Payment terms.

We also buy used cameras, lenses, flashes, grips, tripods and drones from customers across Europe. Describe your gear on the sell page and get a quote by email, free and with no obligation. You ship the gear to us; after the check in our workshop we pay within 2-3 working days by bank transfer or PayPal, and if our final offer doesn't convince you we send everything back at our expense.

Which countries do you ship to, and how much does it cost?
Italy: free from €49, €7.90 below that. The 26 other EU countries: €15 with UPS. Switzerland and the United Kingdom: €20 with UPS.
How fast is delivery?
Orders placed before 12:00 (CET), Monday to Friday, leave our warehouse in Ancona the same day; the others leave on the next working day. If you pay by bank transfer the parcel leaves once the payment is credited. Within Italy delivery takes 1-3 working days; elsewhere in Europe it depends on the destination country. You receive the tracking number by email.
Is the warranty valid outside Italy?
Yes. The ReflexMania warranty has the same terms wherever we deliver: 24 months from delivery for private customers, 12 months with a VAT number. Faults are checked and repaired in our workshop in Ancona, and shipping to us and back is paid by the customer (your statutory guarantee rights are not affected). Email [email protected] with your order number and we tell you what to do.
Can I return an item if I live outside Italy?
Yes. Private customers have 14 days from delivery to return an item without giving a reason. The return is free: we send you the instructions and pay the return shipping. The refund is full and arrives within 14 days of the item reaching us.
Will I pay customs duties or import VAT?
Within the EU, no: prices include VAT and there are no customs formalities. Switzerland and the United Kingdom are outside the EU customs union, so import VAT or duties may be charged on delivery by your country's customs.
Can I sell you my gear from abroad?
Yes. Fill in the form on the sell page and you get a quote by email, free and with no obligation. If you accept, you ship the gear to us with a tracked, insured courier. After the check in our workshop we pay you by bank transfer or PayPal within 2-3 working days; if our final offer doesn't convince you, we send everything back at our expense.
