Used Sigma lenses

Checked in our lab, 2-year warranty

Used Sigma lenses from the Art, Contemporary and Sports lines, for the main mounts (Sony E, Nikon F, Canon EF, L-Mount), checked in our workshop: front and rear elements inspected for fungus, dust and scratches, autofocus motor and stabilisation tested before going on sale. Every listing states the mount, the sensor coverage (full frame or APS-C) and the cosmetic grade, from Like new to Visible signs of use, with real photos of the exact item: with Sigma, always check the mount stated in the name.

Every lens is covered by a 24-month warranty (12 months with a VAT number), with free returns within 14 days of delivery. Shipping across Europe with UPS for €15, free within Italy from €49: what you see is in our warehouse in Ancona, Italy, and the parcel travels at our risk until it reaches you.

How we check our used gear

Every item for sale goes through our in-house lab before it goes online and is covered by a 2-year warranty (12 months if you buy with a VAT number).
On camera bodies we check the sensor, body shell, electronics, plastics, rubber grips and display; on lenses the barrel, glass elements, aperture and autofocus.
Every listing shows the photos, the condition and the shutter count of that very unit: what you see is what you get.

Frequently asked questions about used Sigma lenses

Which cameras does a used Sigma lens fit?

Every Sigma comes in versions with a different mount, Canon EF, Nikon F, Sony E, Fujifilm X, L-Mount or Micro Four Thirds, and fits only bodies with that mount: the version is written in the name and on the product page. DC indicates the design for APS-C, DG full frame, DN the design born for mirrorless. With the original Canon and Nikon adapters, many DSLR Sigma lenses work on mirrorless bodies.

What do you check on a used Sigma lens?

Glass against the light for scratches, haze, dust and fungus; aperture, rings, HSM autofocus motor and OS stabiliser tested on a body with the same mount; mount, contacts and barrel; cleaning. That is at least 11 checks, and the focus test is done on the matching body, because a used Sigma may need a firmware update through the USB dock.

What do the letters on a used Sigma lens mean?

Art, Contemporary and Sports are the three lines: Art for optical quality, Contemporary for contained weight and price, Sports for telephoto lenses. DG is full frame, DC APS-C, DN the design for mirrorless, HSM the autofocus motor, OS the stabiliser, Macro a high reproduction ratio. The designations of each unit are on its product page with the mount and the grade.

What warranty does a used Sigma lens bought from you have?

The ReflexMania warranty of 24 months from delivery for private customers, 12 months with a VAT number, in addition to the statutory 2-year guarantee, with repairs in our workshop in Ancona; free returns within 14 days; free shipping within Italy from €49, €15 to EU countries and €20 to Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
