Used lenses

We inspect the front, rear and internal elements against the light for scratches, haze, dust and fungus, then we test the aperture, the zoom and focus rings, the autofocus motor and the stabiliser where fitted, the mount with its contacts, the barrel and the plastics; finally we clean the outside and the glass. That is at least 11 checks: a lens that fails them never reaches the website.

The mount decides: Canon EF and EF-S for EOS DSLRs and RF for EOS R mirrorless, Nikon F for DSLRs and Nikon Z for mirrorless, Sony E and FE, Fujifilm X, Micro Four Thirds for Olympus and Panasonic. Lenses from Sigma, Tamron and Tokina come in separate versions for each mount. On every lens page you find the mount and the sensor format covered; with the manufacturer's adapter many DSLR lenses work on mirrorless bodies of the same brand.

Yes, but a cosmetic one only: five levels from Like new to Heavily worn, judged on barrel, rings, rubber grips and mount, because a lens has no shutter counter. The glass has to be clean and the operation is verified in our workshop whatever the grade. Hoods, caps and the other accessories included with each unit are listed on its product page.

The same as all our used gear: the ReflexMania warranty of 24 months from delivery for private customers and 12 months with a VAT number, in addition to the statutory 2-year guarantee, with repairs in our workshop in Ancona. You have 14 days from delivery to return it free of charge, with a full refund within 14 days of its arrival. Within Italy shipping is free from €49, €7.90 below that.

Yes. Request a quote through the online form, stating model, mount and condition: the offer arrives by email with no obligation. You ship the lens to us; after the check in our workshop we pay you by bank transfer or PayPal in 2-3 working days, or you put the amount towards your purchase, and with a ReflexMania voucher the quote rises by about 10%.
