Terms of sale

Product warranty

Every new or used product sold by ReflexMania to a "consumer" buyer is covered by the statutory guarantee on consumer goods, which covers defects of conformity appearing within 2 years of the delivery date.

The statutory guarantee protects the goods against defects of conformity with the contract of sale. 

Products sold by ReflexMania to a buyer who is not a "consumer" but a "professional" are not covered by the 24-month statutory guarantee of conformity, but by the 12-month ReflexMania commercial warranty (see below).

ReflexMania commercial warranty. Every used product sold by ReflexMania is checked by our workshop and covered by a commercial warranty of 24 months for consumers and 12 months for purchases with a VAT number, running from delivery. The warranty covers faults in operation not caused by normal wear, knocks, liquids, improper use or work by third parties; ReflexMania repairs or replaces the product or, where that is not possible, refunds the price paid. It starts on its own at delivery and there is nothing to activate; registering it at register your warranty is optional.

To exercise your warranty and support rights, your order number is enough.

Warranty repairs from outside Italy. For customers outside Italy, the shipping costs of a warranty repair, to the ReflexMania workshop in Ancona and back, are paid by the customer. This does not affect the rights provided by the statutory guarantee of conformity.

Prices and availability

Information about the availability of the products we sell is shown on the site and on each product page. The dispatch and delivery times given are estimates: the courier may be delayed. If a product turns out to be unavailable after your order, we notify you by email and refund the full amount paid.

Despite our best efforts, we cannot rule out that for a small number of the products in our catalogue a price is shown that differs from the actual one. We check that product prices are correct during order verification and before dispatch. If, because of an error or other problem, the price shown on the site turns out to be lower than the correct sale price of a product, we will contact you to check whether you still wish to buy the product at the correct price. Otherwise your order cannot be accepted. If the correct price of a product is lower than the one shown on the site, we will charge you only the lower correct price and ship the product anyway.

In the case of a part-exchange, valuations are temporary and vary according to market conditions and the presence of similar items in stock. Agreed amounts are valid for 72 hours. After that period a new valuation must be requested to check that the amount has not changed.

Warranty and right of withdrawal

ReflexMania always pays attention to the needs and expectations of its customers.
For this reason, if you have second thoughts about your purchase you may decide to return the product without giving any reason and without any penalty, obtaining a refund of what you paid.

Where the buyer is a consumer as defined in art. 3, paragraph 1, letter A) of Italian Legislative Decree no. 206/2005 ("a natural person acting for purposes outside any business, commercial, craft or professional activity carried out"), they may exercise the rights set out in that legislation and in particular the right of withdrawal, without any penalty and without stating a reason. That withdrawal may be exercised within 14 days running from the day on which the consumer, or a third party other than the carrier and designated by the consumer, acquires physical possession of the goods.

The customer therefore has the right to return the goods within 14 days of receipt, provided that the withdrawal is notified in advance by email to [email protected] (or, if you prefer, by registered post). We send you the instructions for the return: return shipping is at ReflexMania's expense. Goods to be returned must be sent to the following address:

The right of withdrawal is reserved to the consumer as defined above and cannot therefore be validly exercised where the buyer is a VAT-registered party and the purchase is made for business purposes with a VAT number. The product must be returned in the same condition in which you received it: we do not accept products with damage, wear or dirt other than that stated on the listing at the time of sale. It must be intact, in a normal state of preservation and complete with the accessories stated on the product page and everything received in the parcel. The original packaging must be returned only if the item was sold with its box.

Once the customer has notified the seller of their intention to exercise the right of withdrawal, they must return the goods within 14 days of that notification.

The refund will be made within 14 days of the date the product arrives back at our premises.

Purchases made by bank transfer or cash on delivery will be refunded by bank transfer.

Purchases made through PayPal will be credited back to the customer's PayPal account.

For purchases made by credit card, the refund will be carried out by reversing the transaction directly on the credit card.

In the case of a return or withdrawal the refund is full: nothing is withheld and return shipping is at ReflexMania's expense.

Cancelling orders

Once the order has been placed, an email is sent with a summary and confirmation of the order. If we do not receive payment within 7 working days, we will cancel the order ourselves. If you have placed the order, paid and still wish to cancel it before the dispatch deadline has passed, please send a request by email to [email protected] giving your order number. If the shipment has already left, the order falls under the right of withdrawal described above, at no cost to you. We will then refund the amount paid according to the payment method: bank transfer / PayPal / credit card. Refunds for order cancellation before the order fulfilment deadline will be made within 14 days of the date of the request.

Priority in the sale of used items

Every used product is a one-off item and is also on sale through other channels, for example our eBay shop. If the same item is bought elsewhere before you have completed your order, the sale goes to whoever pays first. If this happens after your order, we notify you by email and refund you in full.

Taxes on the sale of used goods

The margin scheme is a particular VAT regime applied to the sale of used goods; specifically, it is the VAT margin system under articles 36 et seq. of Italian Decree Law no. 41/1995 (converted into Law no. 85/1995). Prices are inclusive of VAT and, for used goods, VAT is not shown on the invoice because a different accounting regime applies. Whether any tax can be deducted depends on the individual case; for specifics, please consult your accountant.

Part-exchange or sale of equipment

Where the transaction is a part-exchange or a sale, customers are asked for the detailed condition of the equipment they are exchanging. If the description does not match, a second valuation will be made which the customer may accept, or else we will send the goods back to the sender.
