If a Olympus does not pass the technical checks, it never reaches the site.

Every camera is covered by a 24-month warranty (12 months with a VAT number), with free returns within 14 days of delivery. Shipping across Europe with UPS for €15, free within Italy from €49: what you see is in our warehouse in Ancona, Italy, and the parcel travels at our risk until it reaches you.

How we check our used gear

Every item for sale goes through our in-house lab before it goes online and is covered by a 2-year warranty (12 months if you buy with a VAT number).
On camera bodies we check the sensor, body shell, electronics, plastics, rubber grips and display; on lenses the barrel, glass elements, aperture and autofocus.
Every listing shows the photos, the condition and the shutter count of that very unit: what you see is what you get.

What do you check on a used Olympus camera?

At least 11 checks in our workshop on every OM-D, PEN or OM System body: shutter counter, sensor with cleaning, curtain, five-axis stabilisation, electronic viewfinder and screen, dials and buttons, hot shoe, electronics, battery and a test shot with an M.Zuiko lens. The cosmetic grade and the accessories included with the unit are on its product page.

How many actuations does a used Olympus have?

On Olympus cameras the counter is read from a service menu that many sellers do not know: we do it in our workshop and write the number on the product page as the certified shutter count. The bands used for the grade are up to 10,000, 50,000 and 100,000 actuations and the lower level between cosmetics and counter applies. You can see how many actuations the cameras we have sold had in our shutter count data.

Which lenses fit a used Olympus camera?

OM-D, PEN and OM System cameras have the Micro Four Thirds mount: they take M.Zuiko lenses and Panasonic Lumix and Leica DG lenses without an adapter, as well as Sigma and Samyang in the same mount. Zuiko Four Thirds lenses from the old E-series DSLRs are used with the original adapter. The mount is stated on every body's product page.
