How many shots does a used Canon 80D usually have?
Among the Canon 80D bodies we have sold since 2024, the shutter counts we read ranged from 9,366 to 26,698. We read the count ourselves in our workshop and publish it on the listing as a certified shutter count; the stated grade is the lower of cosmetic condition and shutter-count band, so a body that looks nice but has been worked hard is not sold as new. What do you check on a used Canon 80D?
The shutter count, the mirror, the APS-C sensor (dust and scratches), the viewfinder, the articulating touchscreen and its hinge, the SD slot, the Wi-Fi, the dials, buttons and battery, then we test it with an EF-S lens. Grade and included accessories are on each item's page, with a 2-year warranty.
Which lenses fit a Canon 80D?
The Canon 80D has the Canon EF-S mount: it takes EF-S lenses, designed for the APS-C sensor, as well as every Canon EF lens, including Sigma, Tamron and Tokina lenses with a Canon mount. There is no in-body stabilisation: stabilisation comes from the lens, where present.
