On a DSLR rated for 900 shutter count, this translates to 650-700 actual shutter count, which is still ample for a day of shooting. On a mirrorless camera rated for 300 shutter count, this drops to 220-240, making a spare battery necessary. It is always advisable to budget 40-60 euros for a second original battery.
