We do not yet have a series of sales from which to draw a typical shutter-count range for the Canon EOS R5. On every unit we read the shutter count ourselves in our workshop and print it on the item's page as a certified shutter count; the declared grade is the lower of cosmetic condition and shutter-count band. What do you check on a used Canon EOS R5 before selling it?
We read the shutter counter, check the exposed 45-megapixel full-frame sensor (dust and scratches), the shutter curtain, the electronic viewfinder, the touch screen, the CFexpress and SD slots, the Wi-Fi, the dials, the buttons and the battery, then we test it with an RF lens, for stills and video. Grade and included accessories are on the item's page, with a 2-year warranty.
Which lenses fit a Canon EOS R5?
The Canon EOS R5 has the Canon RF mount and a full-frame sensor: it takes RF lenses and also RF-S lenses, cropping the frame. With the EF-EOS R adapter it uses all Canon EF and EF-S lenses, including Sigma, Tamron and Tokina lenses with an EF mount, with autofocus and stabiliser active.
