Frequently asked questions about the used Canon EOS R6
How many shutter actuations does a used Canon EOS R6 usually have?
We do not yet have a series of sales to draw a typical shutter-count range for the Canon EOS R6. On every unit we read the shutter count ourselves in our workshop and print it on the listing as a certified shutter count; the declared grade is the lower of cosmetic condition and shutter-count band. You can see how shutter counts are spread across the bodies we sell in our shutter count data.
What do you check on a used Canon EOS R6 before selling it?
We read the shutter counter, check the exposed full-frame sensor (dust and scratches), the shutter curtain, the electronic viewfinder, the articulated touch screen, the two SD slots, the Wi-Fi, the dials, the buttons and the battery, then we test it for stills and video with an RF lens. Grade and included accessories are on each item's page, with a 2-year warranty.
Which lenses fit a Canon EOS R6?
The Canon EOS R6 has the Canon RF mount and a full-frame sensor: it takes RF lenses and, with a cropped frame, RF-S lenses; with the EF-EOS R adapter it also takes all Canon EF and EF-S lenses and Sigma, Tamron and Tokina lenses with an EF mount, keeping autofocus and the lens stabiliser.
What warranty does a used Canon EOS R6 bought from you have?
Every Canon EOS R6 we sell leaves our workshop with a 2-year warranty, like the rest of our used gear, and you can return it within 14 days of delivery. On each item's page you find the grade, the certified shutter count, photos of the piece and the included accessories. If you have one to sell or trade in, we value it within 24 hours.
