It depends on the unit: the last Canon 700D we sold, in May 2026, had a certified shutter count of 634, in Very good condition grade. We do not ask the seller for the number: we read the counter ourselves in our workshop and print it on the item's page, and the declared grade is the lower of cosmetic condition and shutter-count band. What do you check on a used Canon 700D before selling it?
We read the shutter counter, check the 18-megapixel APS-C sensor (dust and scratches), the mirror, the viewfinder, the touch screen, the SD slot, the dials, the buttons and the battery, then we test it with an EF-S lens, video included. Grade and included accessories are written on each item's page, and it comes with a 2-year warranty.
Which lenses fit a Canon 700D?
The Canon 700D has the Canon EF-S mount and an APS-C sensor: it takes both EF-S lenses, designed for this format, and all Canon EF lenses, including Sigma, Tamron and Tokina lenses with an EF mount. With an EF lens the frame is cropped compared with full frame. Stabilisation depends on the lens, not on the body.
