How many shutter actuations does a used Nikon D3000 usually have?
We do not have a series of recent sales from which to draw a typical shutter-count range for the Nikon D3000. On every unit we read the shutter count ourselves in our workshop and print it on the item's page as a certified shutter count; the declared grade is the lower of cosmetic condition and shutter-count band. What do you check on a used Nikon D3000 before selling it?
We read the shutter counter, check the 10.2-megapixel APS-C sensor (dust and scratches), the mirror, the viewfinder, the screen, the SD slot, the dials, the buttons and the battery, then we test it with a Nikon AF-S lens. Grade and included accessories are written on each item's page, and it comes with a 2-year warranty.
Which lenses fit a Nikon D3000?
The Nikon D3000 has the Nikon F mount without an autofocus motor in the body: autofocus works with AF-S lenses, while AF-D lenses are used with manual focus. It takes DX and FX lenses and Sigma, Tamron and Tokina lenses with a Nikon mount. It does not record video: it is a DSLR for stills only.
