Frequently asked questions about the used Tamron 18-200mm f3.5-6.3 XR Di II LD Aspherical Macro Nikon
What do you check on a used Tamron 18-200mm f3.5-6.3 XR Di II LD Aspherical Macro Nikon?
We look at the glass against the light (scratches, haze, fungus, internal dust), the zoom ring and how smoothly it runs over its whole travel, the focus ring, the aperture, the autofocus tested on a Nikon body, the 62 mm filter thread and the mount with its contacts. On each item's page you find the grade and the included accessories, with a 2-year warranty.
Which cameras does the Tamron 18-200mm f3.5-6.3 XR Di II LD Aspherical Macro Nikon fit?
It has the Nikon F mount and is a lens for APS-C sensors, as the Di II label indicates: it is designed for Nikon DX DSLRs. On a Nikon full-frame DSLR it is used with the DX crop. On Nikon Z mirrorless cameras it fits with the FTZ adapter.
How close does the Tamron 18-200mm f3.5-6.3 XR Di II LD Aspherical Macro Nikon focus?
The minimum focus distance is 0.45 metres, with a magnification of 0.27x: that is what the Macro label means, not a true life-size macro. Across the whole range from 18 to 200 mm it therefore allows close-ups of flowers and objects. The front filter thread is 62 mm.
How much does a used Tamron 18-200mm f3.5-6.3 XR Di II LD Aspherical Macro Nikon cost from you?
We sold one in November 2024, at €120. The price of each unit depends on its grade and the included accessories, and you find it on the page of the single piece, with a 2-year warranty and returns within 14 days. If you have one to sell or trade in, we value it within 24 hours. If you are looking for a lens within this budget, also have a look at our used lenses under €300.
